Our journey began when a team of former Tier-1 Consultants came together with a shared belief: that Big-Name Consulting companies are corrupt and broken. We saw firsthand how big-name consulting companies prioritized profits over people, chased short-term wins at the expense of long-term client success, and failed to truly serve the communities and societies they claimed to support.We started our company with a different vision—one grounded in the conviction that clients, humanity, society, and the planet deserve better. At the time, we didn’t know how far we could go or if we could even survive the initial years. But what drove us forward was the understanding that we could provide a service no one else was offering—one built on integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

By 2005, Tetra had grown significantly, operating in over six offices across the Western United States. Our service offerings had expanded to include business strategy and management consulting, and our customer base now included over 25 Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, our IT consulting business had flourished, providing co-location and managed services to mid-size software development companies and government clients.During this time, Tetra attracted interest from several Tier-1 consulting firms and mid-size accounting firms for potential acquisition. After careful consideration and extensive discussions, the partnership decided to restructure the company into two distinct entities. The Management Consulting division became WGA Consulting, LLC, while the IT Consulting group continued as Tetra Technology Consulting, LLC. This strategic separation allowed both organizations to focus on their respective specialties and continue delivering exceptional value to their clients.

Between 2006 and 2010, WGA Consulting, LLC experienced remarkable growth, expanding its customer base to include 110 Fortune 500 companies. Our industry practices broadened to encompass Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Consumer Products, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, and Energy sectors, solidifying our reputation as a trusted consulting partner. However, like many businesses, WGA faced significant challenges during the "Great Recession." Despite the economic downturn, we successfully navigated this period by evolving our service offerings and refining our value proposition to better meet our clients' needs.During this time, WGA established our industry leading Independent Environmental, Social, and Ethical (ESE) Review Board. Our independent ESE Board reviews all of our work to ensure it upholds the highest standards of ethics and integrity and is aligned with our company values.

WGA Consulting entered a new phase of growth and globalization. We expanded internationally, supporting client engagements around the world, while further broadening our industry practices to include Technology, Utilities, and Government sectors. During this period, our team tripled in size, driven by an increase in long-term, multi-year engagements with our clients. To support this growth, we opened new offices in El Segundo, CA, and Torrance, CA, solidifying our presence in key markets and positioning us for continued success.

WGA Consulting expanded its global presence by opening offices in London, Hong Kong, and Cork marking a significant milestone in our international growth. During this time, we also pioneered the first subscription-based consulting-as-a-service model, introducing WGA360™. This innovative offering delivers world-class, ethical, and affordable business strategy and management consulting services tailored for small, mid-size, and global companies, revolutionizing accessibility to high-quality consulting solutions

In 2020, WGA Advisory Holdings, Inc. was established, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. Our new service offerings allowed WGA to extend its expertise to Principal Investors, Private Equity firms, mid-size businesses, and global enterprises.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, WGA experienced significant challenges. Despite the unprecedented disruption, WGA demonstrated resilience, adapting quickly to meet evolving client needs and supporting organizations through the crisis. WGA helped clients rebuild stronger by improving supply chain resilience, addressing operational risks, and designing strategies to recover and thrive in a post-pandemic world.

As part of this transformation, WGA Advisors acquired WGA Consulting, ensuring the continued realization of WGA's vision while fostering growth and solidifying its role as an ethical leader in the consulting industry.Today, WGA remains dedicated to helping its clients adapt to change, achieve long-term success, and build a better, more sustainable future.
